Beach lovers all over the world look forward to summer. It is that particular time of year to get the perfect tan, time to show off that stunning figure you acquired after months of strict dieting and exercise workouts. It is that time of year, too, to flaunt that flattering pair of bikini you were lucky enough to get on. Best of all, it is time to relax and enjoy the sparklingly cool waters.

There are so many fun activities you can do at the beach! And looking your best makes them even more fun! However, the harsh rays of the sun can ruin your skin, and ultimately dampen your mood. This should give you more reason to look and feel beautiful even in the sun.

Start your day right by cleaning your face with a moisturizer. Preferably, use a moisturizer that already contains sunscreen for better protection. Follow this up with a concealer that exactly matches your skin tone. A good concealer can effectively hide those unwanted spots on your face, including the dark circles underneath your eyes. Blend the concealer well with a bit of foundation. Light application of foundation is recommended. You wouldn’t want to look too heavy when you are at the beach.


Apply just a bit of blush to your cheeks to make you look alive. Too much color will make you look like you are going to a party, and this is not the kind of look you want to achieve at all. A tinge of pink on your cheeks can make a big difference in the sun. Next, dip a powder brush into some translucent powder and apply it lightly on your face, giving particular attention to your t-zone. Finish your look with a coat of tinted mascara.
